Hello all. Wow, this year has flown by. Everyone is wrapping up their semesters and that means the Planning program's Capstone class is just about ready to present the work they've been doing all semester. If you're not familiar, they have been working on the Lake-Link trail, a greenway that will connect the Towpath Trail to the lakefront. Please mark your calendars for May 5th at 4pm to join the class for this presentation. Aside from showing support for your colleagues, it will be a great networking opportunity, as many community stakeholders have been invited to attend as well. The flyer is at the bottom of this post - we look forward to seeing you there!
Another upcoming event at the College, if you have not already heard, is the first "Historic Preservation in America's Legacy Cities" conference! This is a very exciting and important event to be held in our building and will bring speakers and attendees from across the country. The best part? Free for students! That includes May graduates. Register by May 4th at http://events.r20.constantcontact.com/register/event?oeidk=a07e8zfrwil55814c29&llr=5pv6xebab to claim your spot. SPACE IS LIMITED! So register ASAP.
