On Wednesday November 13th in the Bonda Board Room (UR 254) at 5pm, the CSU APA will host Diana Cyganovich, Executive Director of Cogswell Hall, to talk about these issues and more. Cogswell Hall offers a family-like home for low-income adults with disabling conditions. Many of these adults would otherwise be homeless, if Cogswell Hall were not an option. Their mission: "Cogswell Hall is a permanent solution to homelessness that offers quality, low-income housing with social services, builds community and advocates for disabled and economically disadvantaged individuals." Anyone interested in homelessness, equity planning, non-profit organizations, social justice, or the future of our city should join us for this discussion.
Mrs. Cyganovich has provided us with some resources that relate to the topic. Here are the resources she recommends if you are interested in this topic - whether you'll make it to the meeting or not.
